If I could go back in time and learn to code, I would do a lot of things differently. If I could start over, I'd spend more time doing practical projects rather than focusing on theory. I would also prioritize learning how to use an editor and the terminal. And above all, I'd adopt a coding mindset. Today, I walk you through an entire study plan to become a coder/software engineer. I hope this guide inspires you to keep coding and continue your software engineering career. I'm a 23 year old, recent graduate working at a high growth startup! In this step-by-step Python for beginners tutorial, learn how you can get started programming in Python. In this video, I assume that you are completely new to programming. We'll walk through how to get Python, how to run your first code, and how to get an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to help you code faster. You'll also learn about variables and how to set them. We'll look at functions, if statements, while and for loops, and we'll import libraries. At the end, we'll also look at how you can troubleshoot your code, for instance, when you run into syntax, semantic, or runtime errors. By the end, you'll know how to run code and you'll also understand the basic concepts of programming. My name is Kevin Stratvert and I'll be your guide to Python. In this educational video, children will learn what programming is in a very simple way. Programming is the language of technology and machines. It was created by humans in order to make machines understand us and do what we want. Programming has different languages, which means that it has different ways of giving orders to the machines. Through these languages we can write code, combining words and symbols, which form commands. Commands are the orders we give to machines. They tell them what actions to perform. Algorithms are a sequence of detailed step-by-step instructions. In programming, algorithms are written by programmers for a machine to perform its task. This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children to learn how to code. It is an excellent video for primary education. Thanks for visiting us! If you want your children to smile and learn, subscribe! :D If you like our videos, download Smile and Learn now.
