Michael Schumacher impressively reacts to a crowd invasion on the track, and manages to avoid hitting anyone. This came prevailing his win and his inlap back to the pits (Monza, 2000).

Michael Schumacher, Jean Todt and Ross Brawn, not only changed Scuderia Ferrari forever, but they changed the sport of Formula 1. After Jean Todt joined a struggling Ferrari in the 90's, he was soon joined by Michael Schumacher who had already won back to back championships with Benetton. They were soon joined by Ross Brawn and went on to transform the team, and turn Ferrari into the most dominant force F1 had ever seen at the time. With 5 straight championships, the dream team had an enormous amount of power within the team. And maybe, a bit too much for Ferrari's liking. I know, I know: same track and the same screaming V10 engine. I really can't get enough of this. But this time the video is about a marvellous Ferrari F2004 F1 cars (chassis number 234, which was driven and won 5 races with Michael Schumacher back in the days) driven pretty fast at Monza Circuit during a Ferrari F1 Clienti event. It's the first time I recorded this car at Monza but I had the pleasure to see it for the first time two years ago during the Finali Mondiali at Mugello Circuit and I was quite impressed by how fast the owner/driver of this beauty was pushing on track. The F2004 is powered by a 3.0-litre V10 engine which is able to produce 865 bhp at 18.300 rpm on a car that weighs only 605 kgs. Hear it in action on the Italian track during a 2 days event characterized by a wet morning session on the first day and 3 dry ones. Stay tuned as I will be uploading more content from this qualifying session and also from the race from a different location around the circuit… Ferrari F2003-GA Engine: 3.0L V10 Power: ~930bhp Weight: 600kg The qualifying session, on Saturday 31st May 2003, was run as a one-lap session with the cars running one at a time. The Saturday running order was determined by the times set in Friday afternoon qualifying (Q1) with the slowest running first and the fastest heading out last. Ralf Schumacher took pole, with this lap from Michael only good enough for 5th place on the grid. So much so, that I’ve been comparing their onboards, and it’s been SUPER interesting. Max Verstappen drives with a Schumacher style, but one that’s been adapted for the cars of now. Let me explain. Schumacher drove with a distinctive style, he liked a lot of oversteer in his cars. Meaning he liked the balance of grip in the car to favour the front axle. So he would like the aero balance, the weight distribution and rake of the car to all favour the front - giving him incredible front-end grip through the corners. This meant he could rotate the car VERY quickly, pivoting it in the middle of the corner. ➤Follow Driver61 on: ➤ Instagram- 🤍official_driver61 - 🤍 ➤TikTok - 🤍official_driver61 - 🤍 ➤ Follow Scott on: ➤ Twitter - 🤍 ➤ Instagram - 🤍official_driver61 - 🤍 #Schumacher #Verstappen #Formula1
